We are getting ready to build!

The immediate need for a new home

More than ever, we need a more prominent, more accessible location to meet the increased demand for our current services. The new house will be located near the Atwater metro station. As a result, it will be more accessible.

Our approach to intervention is at the heart of this choice. In a desire to offer each individual the power over their own life and their own decision, we were eager to increase our services

New facilities. Among other things, the new Labre House will include 36 studios spread over three floors. Each apartment will consist of a bathroom, a bed, a table and chair, a small refrigerator, and a microwave. The units will not include a kitchen; however, residents will have access to the dining room in the day center, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Benoit Labre's housing program involves moving people experiencing homelessness from the street or emergency shelters to long-term supportive housing. The goal is to help strengthen and develop the client's skills and abilities based on self-determined goals, including employment, education, social integration, health improvements, or other purposes that will help stabilize the client's situation and lead to self-sufficiency.

The day center will be open seven days a week from 8 am to 6 pm and will include: a large commercial kitchen, a standard dining room, a reading room, a community/activity room, etc.

More details about this project will be revealed soon.
