“Beat the Cold for ‘Mardi Je Donne!” (7th edition)"
How can we help people experiencing homelessness get through the winter? For the seventh consecutive year, Maison Benoît Labre is organizing “À bas le froid,” its “Mardi je donne” campaign.
Our Goal: This winter, 350 people in the Sud-Ouest and Verdun neighborhoods will face the cold without a permanent home. We are preparing a complete winter care package for each of them. You can donate one.
The campaign culminates on Tuesday, December 1, 2026—Mardi je donne day—and continues through December 31.
Our main goal: 8500 $
That's what it takes to prepare and distribute winter care packages to the 350
people we're supporting this winter in the Southwest and in Verdun.
Your donation, in concrete terms
$20 A complete winter sleeping bag for one person.
$100 Five sleeping bags. Five people equipped before the first sub-zero nights.
$500 Twenty-five sleeping bags. A contribution that changes the scale of our distribution.

Companies, foundations, and partners: Make a difference by contributing!
In each bag, we include: thermal underwear, wool socks, a pair of sweatpants, a thermal blanket, snacks, a beanie, pairs of gloves, and hygiene products—all packed in a backpack.
“Tuesday I Give” is the time of year when your commitment is most visible. We work with each partner based on their specific circumstances:
Campaign sponsorship: Associate your organization with the 7th edition and its visibility
Matching fund: Double public donations during a specific period—the most effective way to mobilize support for a campaign
Workplace drive: Set up a collection point for items in your offices
Team volunteering: Help assemble the bags.
