Be a volunteer
Benedict Labre House relies heavily on the work and energy of unpaid human resources. Volunteers work in all areas of the House. A brief orientation will be provided.
Get involved among colleagues
The Benoit Labre House is very flexible. If you want to get involved with colleagues, friends or even neighbours, we have many suggestions for you!
Meal Teams: Gather a team of 4-6 people from your school, parish or organization to prepare and serve a meal to our guests.
Plan a food drive or fundraiser: Through your school, church, employer or just your friends, plan an event to raise money for the House. Events can include car wash, festival, game, dance.
Participate in our fundraisers
Thanks to social networks, you can help us right now with a click! You can participate in our fundraising efforts in many ways, whether it's by sharing, making J'AIME mentions on our pages or offering monetary donations.

Become an intern with us
We welcome students from a variety of programs as interns. You have the opportunity to work with our guests here at the organization and practice different roles within a community organization. You can become an intern for intervention, philanthropic development, or even administrative positions.
Most of the time, our interns become permanent employees.

Make a variety of donations
As a community organization, we welcome all forms of donations. In order to keep the House running smoothly and our guests comfortable, we are always in need of donations of clothing, household items, toiletries and food. We have equal requests for male and female items.
Most requested personal items:
New or gently used seasonal clothing.
New or gently used underwear.
Boots and shoes.
Blankets and sleeping bag.
Personal hygiene and health products.
Tickets for upcoming local events or activities.
Backpack.
In-demand household items:
New refrigerator - freezer

Donate money
All monetary donations can be made by cash, credit card or check. Donations can be made online, in person or by mail. We love receiving messages with your donations!
