Fundraising Event "Down with the Cold for Giving Tuesday!"
Wondering how to help people experiencing homelessness during the winter? Our fundraising event "Down with the Cold!" is back for its 5th edition. For the fifth consecutive year, the "Down with the Cold for Giving Tuesday" fundraiser will run until December 3, coinciding with Giving Tuesday. Gift a winter backpack to help people face the winter.
Goal: Raise $5,000 for purchases
Purpose: Enable the community to warm up the most vulnerable population with donations to buy essential winter bags.
A $25 donation = 1 half winter bag
A $50 donation = 1 winter bag
A $100 donation = 1 bag to warm 2 people
Make a Difference by Contributing!
In each bag, we include thermal underwear, wool socks, sweatpants, a thermal blanket, snacks, a beanie, a pair of gloves, and a backpack.
If you’re convinced, gift a backpack based on your budget right now! With our volunteers, we will prepare the bags and distribute them during the "Giving Tuesday" event on December 3, 2024. This year, we will also provide hot drinks and comforting meals to warm our community as much as possible.
